HCESD16/Klein VFD obtain ISO2 rating through continuous improvement

Harris County Emergency Services District 16 and the Klein Volunteer Fire Department are proud of their continuous improvement efforts which recently led to an improved Insurance Services Office rating of 2 in areas of the District with fire hydrants. This rating is the second-highest awarded by the ISO and puts the Department in the top 7 percent of firefighting organizations in Texas.

HCESD 16/Klein VFD announced in March that the Department had received the rating, and the video below expands on why that award was given and the Department’s assets.

For more information on how an ISO2 rating affects business, homeowners or renters insurance rates, residents and business owners are encouraged to contact their insurance agents.
