Harris County ESD No.16 Commissioners approved a contract with architectural firm BRW Architects to build a new station for Klein Fire Department. The station will be located near the intersection of Crescent Clover Drive and Champions Forest Drive. The ESD has budgeted $3.0 million for construction which is expected to begin in May 2016.
At its August meeting, Harris County ESD No. 16 commissioners selected BRW Architects to design the District's new fire station near the corner of Champions Forest Drive and Crescent Clover Drive. Station #8 will be designed to accomdate the future growth of the area and feature a three-bay pull-through facility with living quarters, overnight quarters and related support spaces.

Residents in Harris County ESD #16 voted in favor of the sales tax proposition. Passage of the proposition will establish 1% of available sales tax revenue

Harris County ESD #16 and Klein Fire Dept. held a dedication ceremony for Station #37. The station is located on T.C. Jester Blvd. just south of Spring Cypress. The new station replaced the station located on Winding Ridge in the Spring Creek Oaks Subdivision. The station houses an engine, equipment truck, rescue boat & utility vehicle.
