Fire Extinguisher Training

Klein Fire offers hands-on fire extinguisher training sessions to local businesses and other groups. After a short classroom training session with video and a digital fire simulator, participants will gain practical, hands-on experience using different class extinguishers with live, outdoor fire demonstrations under the direct supervision of our trained Klein fire prevention team.

Home Safe Sitter® Training

Babysitting is a big responsibility, and we want everyone who takes it on to be well prepared. If you have a child who has expressed interest, completed the 5th Grade, is responsible for the care of younger siblings or family members, and/or has been asking to start their own babysitting service, it might be time for Safe Sitter® training.

It is equally important for adult caregivers of children (e.g. grandparents, aunts, and uncles) to be well-versed in the art of childcare, particularly with new recommendations for care based on research from doctors and scientists. After all, things have changed since they raised their children!

The Klein Safe Sitter® Instructor will train participants in lifesaving (CPR, choking rescue, first aid, and injury management), business (managing babysitting jobs), home alone safety, childcare skills, and behavior management. These priceless lessons will help them be fully prepared to take on the responsibility and help our community be a place where every child can be safe.
