Heating Safety Tips
As the temperatures lower in Houston people will be finding ways to warm their homes. Please take a minute to review the following safety tips to help keep you and your family safe from any fire related incidents. Stay warm but stay safe doing it!
Heatstroke Safety
When it's HOT out in Houston, please remember to never leave a child (or pet) in a non-running vehicle for any length of time. Unfortunately, heatstroke incidents are usually accidents that happen due to a change in routine. Communicate, communicate, communicate if there is going to be a change in routine!

Dry Weather Conditions
Under a burn ban, no outdoor burning is allowed except in an enclosure which contains all flames and/or sparks, outdoor burning activities authorized by Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), approved ceremonial fires, non-commercial cooking, and prescribed "hot work".
